Lassi is a creamy frothy cool curd based drink. Curd is said to have natural cooling properties. In summer when one is already sweating, after having a heavy spicy Indian meal, lassi is the best option to cool down the system.
Punjabi sweet lassi. This is prepared from thick curds and sugar with very few additional natural ingredients.so let us see how to prepare this easy tasty lassi.
Add curds, milk , ice cubes and sugar to a vessel.
Whisk well or churn for 4 minutes
Add 1tbsp chopped nuts and cardamom powder
Whisk again for about 3 minutes
Transfer to serving glass
Add remaining chopped nuts, saffron and rose water to garnish.
Serve chilled lassi
2 cups curd
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup or 4 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp rose water
Ice cubes 1/4 cup
chopped nuts 2 tbsp
